Warranty Considerations

Any head damaged in a hunting situation will be covered, no questions. If that bighorn is in a rock field, or that whitetail is standing infront of a discarded cement pile, take the shot! We got you.

Broadheads damaged while target shooting do not fall under our warranty policy. These are not target points, and they are not intended for target practice. If you are target shooting with your broadheads, make sure that you have a suitable backdrop, and make sure that your target doesn't have any loose points inside of it.

Modifying the bevel below the factory grind voids the warranty. These heads are ground at roughly 25°. This produces one of the sharpest broadheads on the market, with more rotation inducing torque than other single bevel designs. We'll stand behind that angle. In the extremely rare instances that the edge chips we will warranty that head. However, if you modify your broadhhead beyond the factory grind, the bevel starts to thin out to the point where the structural integrity is compromised. If you thin out your bevel you have voided your warranty.

If you have sharpened your broadhead to the point where >10% of the weight has been removed, then the warranty has been voided. You have either gotten fair use of your broadhead, or you have abused it in a manner that voids the warranty. We've had a lot of customers kill a dozen or more animals with the same broadhead. If you're approaching that level and you fear that you have resharpened it so many times that it's lost 10% of it's weight, then we think you got your money's worth out of a fantastic broadhead. But if you're trying to figure out how to sharpen your broadhead and it's taking you longer than a few minutes, stop sharpening! You're doing something wrong!

If you're broadhead is stuck in a tree, take a few minutes to carve away some bark and/or wood before craking on it with a pair of pliers. Damaged induced by pliers is not covered under warranty.

Take comfort, there's about a million Cutthroat broadheads out there, and we only warranty a dozen or so a year. If you use a Cutthroat Broadhead the way that it is intended to be used, the chances that you will be contacting us about a warranty are pretty small.
